Industrial systems and products control division
This division is responsible for conducting research programs in the fields of control, monitoring industrial systems, process automation and quality control of manufactured products. This division develops various powerful algorithms based on artificial intelligence and offers these latter as innovative solutions to its industrial partners.
This division is also responsible of transferring its knowledge and expertise to the industry through technological achievements based on software and on-board electronic platforms to solve problems of manufacturers.
The research themes developed in this division revolve around:
- Control of Electro-Energetic Systems, in particular energy conversion systems
- The automation of industrial processes with the integration of new optimization approaches
- Monitoring industrial systems by introducing predictive maintenance
- Quality control and conformity of the manufactured products, in particular the detection of defects by non-contact inspection
The applications of the research products developed in this division are concerned with mining and metallurgy installations and products, the automotive industry, particularly electric vehicles, the pharmaceutical and food industry, etc.).
