The magnetic thin films have attracted a considerable interest because of their potential applications in various magnetic technologies (magnetic recording, magnetic read heads, sensors ...). This interest has increased in recent years through the implementation of new techniques for the deposition and more sophisticated means of characterization, enabling the manufacture of new materials gifted of properties never observed on the materials in the solid state. This helped to expand the field of research on ferromagnetic thin films and their applications in technology.
The development of ferromagnetic thin films on semiconductor substrates or porous membranes is essential for the achievement of a large number of devices based on the transport phenomenon spin dependent, for example spin-effect transistors or light emitting diodes spin. Ferromagnetic thin films (Ni, Fe, Co) or alloys and BiFeO3 are nowadays potential candidates for the technology based on spin transport. Several physical or chemical methods are used to make pure and reproducible thin ferromagnetic layers by adjusting at will certain parameters. Among these techniques, we distinguish vacuum evaporation, CVD and electroplating, processes easy to implement to develop thin films with low cost and high rate a high rate of deposition. It is well known that the physical properties (structural, microstructural and magnetic) of electro-deposited films or pulverized highly dependent on working conditions. In this research, it will be developed by electroplating or evaporation, ferromagnetic thin films on semiconductor substrates (Si and ITO), nanowires of Si and Alumina membranes substrates, and by the CVD technique on substrates Si and SrTiO3. First, an optimization of the experimental conditions, giving rise to continuous deposits on various substrates, will be made. Secondly, it will study the effect of deposition parameters and the effect of the substrate on the structural, microstructural and magnetic properties.
